Public Hearing May 21, 2025

The Cairo Town Board will be holding the 2nd public hearing on May 21, 2025 at 7pm in the Town Hall Meeting Room for the purpose of accepting public comments on the proposed creation of a new water district entitled “South Cairo Water District”.

Cairo Fire District Legal Notice

By resolution dated the 28th day of April, 2025, the Cairo Fire District has approved a resolution subject to permissive referendum to withdraw up to $90, 000.00 from a Capital Reserve Fund to be put towards the purchase of a new Utility vehicle and equipment for the vehicle.

Petitions for a referendum must be submitted to the Secretary of the Cairo Fire District no later than thirty (30) days after the date of publication of this notice.

Planning Board Meeting with Public Hearings

Public Hearing – May 5, 2025 at 7pm

The Town of Cairo will conduct a Public Hearing on May 5, 2025 at 7:00 pm at Town of Cairo Town Hall Meeting Room, 512 Main Street, Cairo, New York, on a proposed local law to amend the Subdivision Law to establish lot line adjustment procedures.   A copy of the proposed changes is on file in the Town Clerk’s office, Cairo Town Hall, 512 Main Street, Cairo, New York where it may be inspected during regular Town Hall business hours.
